The Developer's Journey: Making Explorers Into Advocates

The Developer's Journey—Discover, Understand, Play, Build, Advocate—isn't the same as the Buyer's Journey. It's not about a purchasing decision, but rather it's a description of what actually happens inside a developer's head when they evaluate and adopt something new. Understanding each stage has direct consequences for every decision in a DevRel program: what content you create, what events you run, who you hire, and how you measure success.

The goal is to help developers move through each stage with such great results along the way that they want to become advocates for your technology. You get to mentor them on their journey, and they end up telling a better story than you ever could.
