Apache Kafka 101 is back! (2025 Edition ft. Tim Berglund)

The original Kafka 101 course was released in 2019, and was the starting point for hundreds of thousands of engineers learning with this pivotal technology. By 2025, the old course needed an update. Confluent had come to see Kafka as the foundation of a platform that included data governance, stream processing, and integration capabilities—all available in open source form and in Confluent Cloud. This refreshed course, released on YouTube and on Confluent Developer, brought a more contemporary perspective to this critical data infrastructure topic.
